Sneak Peak…ModCloth Goodies!

Yesterday was super busy with a photo shoot, in which I was a model and a stylist (fun!) and then for most of today, I’ll be meeting with one of my clients to go through their wardrobe and then help them shop for their fall/winter wardrobe (more fun!). So, needless to say I haven’t had a chance to snap any outfit photos, but I wanted to touch back on my mini series about my summer favorites. To read part 1, which I posted back in September, click here. Anyway, one of my other favorite summer memories was over Labor Day, when I went to Cape Cod with some girlfriends. We had the best time ever and I can’t wait to go back. I took tons of photos but for the sake of creating a manageable collage, I tried to select a handful of shots that showed both daily outfits and fun activities, combined.

So, this is just a small personal post about something wonderful that happened to me yesterday. I was taking a lovely afternoon walk with a very dear person, and as fate had it, it happened to be the soft launch of Starbucks’ seasonal drinks. Yes, that’s right, that meant the Gingerbread Latte was finally available for the first time this year. It’s my very favorite drink during November and December and so you can imagine my excitement. This polaroid was taken right after I picked up my drink at the coffee bar, and so I will just let the expression on my face describe the pure happiness I felt. Silly, goofy, even nerdy, I know, but man, it was pretty priceless. Jeez, I am such a Seattlite at heart. Happy November!

So, last week I wore this outfit to a press event, and then out with friends. I wanted to look chic and put together, so I decided to fancy it up a bit by adding lace tights, a mini skirt, and heels. I think that this might be my favorite version of all.

P.S. I walked by H&M yesterday and saw this geometric print blown out into a larger, more exaggerated pattern, in the version of a strapless mini dress. Mmm…those of you who think I will own this item by the end of the week, say aye!

The best part? Since we first got our idea for our costumes from the American Apparel website, which showcased all these awesome Halloween costumes that people created from AA clothing, we were able to one-stop-shop, since all our clothing (minus Allie’s BF’s pants) came from AA!

Today I was going back through my Flickr photos and came across all my recent detailed shoes shots. So, for fun, I thought I’d throw together a little collage. What you see here above are some of my very favorite pairs.
