Weekend Wear: By Bridges, On Boats
ModCloth Agyness Top/ Buffalo Exchange Chain Necklace / H&M Bauble Necklace / H&M Skirt / Steve Madden Trackks Wedges
On Tuesday night, I had the extreme pleasure of attending a celebratory dinner for Erin Fetherston, who is Juicy Couture’s new creative consultant. I got to meet the lovely Miss Fetherston herself, as well as drink pink champagne and catch up with some of my favorite blogger girls, Audrey, Carolyn and Kelly. The rest of the evening was filled with eating, drinking, chatting and shopping…they let us loose in the Juicy store for an after-hours mini shopping spree! I felt very lucky and was floating on a cloud all evening.
H&M Blazer / Fred Flare Necklace / Forever 21 Tee / Forever 21 Dotted Silky Skirt / Thrifted Belt / Vintage Ferragamo Heels (thrifted from Beacon’s Closet)
When I was back in Seattle, I went to Forever 21 with my Mom. As we wandered around, we quickly noticed the”shirt wall” they had going on, which covered an entire back wall and consisted of many bright colors and styles. At that same time, I happened to be holding this exact polka dot skirt in my hand, and and that’s when the chartruese tee began calling to me. We both immediately agreed it would be a fun contrast against the dark blue dotted skirt, so I snatched it up and whisked away into the dressing room. Needless to say, I walked out with both items, among a few other gems, and had a little hop in my step as I exited the store.
I was originally going to pair these shoes from Steve Madden with this ensemble, but then at the last minute, decided that these vintage Ferragamos would be a nice contrast with the primary-esque colors. Et, voila. Remix #3 of the polka dot skirt…I wonder how many more there will be?! Stay tuned to find out!
HAPPY WEEKEND! xoxo
With summer in full swing and park picnics and beach days ahead, my go-to outfit includes a lightweight, breezy sundress to make sure I stay comfortable and cool all day. I also look for simple accessories, such as a classic pair of shades, a cute straw sun hat and some open-toe wedges in order to remain stylish and fresh, no matter the temperature. In order to create my dream outfit for the warmer months, I hopped onto Beso.com and came up with this bright and cheerful ensemble. xoxo

Happy Wednesday!
I’ve been doing some thinking lately and decided that as a blogger with so many lovely readers, it’s high time I get inside your heads and understand your needs and wants as followers of this blog. I’d like to know if there are things you would like to see more of, less of, and so on and so forth.
For the most part, the blog format will remain the same, but I do think change can be good, so here goes!
For instance:
Are you guys super keen on seeing more remixes?
Do you prefer shorter text or more descriptive paragraphs on why/how I put my outfit together?
What about online shopping? How often do you find yourself clicking on links I provide in a post?
What your price points are when you go shopping? I know that I love places like Forever 21, H&M and Zara, but what about you?
Are you hoping to see more affordable, possibly thrifted items or do you respond to more high end, designer items?
Those are some quick questions that came to mind, but now it’s your turn. Let me know your thoughts! I just ask that you please keep everything kind and constructive. :) Thank you, and I look forward to hearing from you! xoxo
Outfit Remix: Dewy Dots:
Yesterday was muggy, then rainy, then muggy all over again, which meant that I spent most of the day in front of my airconditioner doing work. But thanks to one dear KeikoLynn and her Makeup Monday post, I became inspired to put my “face on,” get dressed and step outside of my very comfortable apartment into the thick, humid air. Despite the dewy glow I received seconds later, I bucked up, continued on my way, and had a good time snapping outfit photos.
As for where I wore this ensemble…I attended a movie preview with my lovely friend Becky. I lugged my rain boots along for back up, just in case the weather turned, but in the end, they lent themselves as a fun prop.
Lastly, I give you the polka dot skirt remix, just two days in. For those of you just joining, I have decided to take this on as a mini challenge, so stay tuned this week to see what I come up with! xoxo
